April 2018, Kalibaru-Cilincing Sea Dike Completed

As part of the arrangement of the coastal region and rob handling, a Kalibaru-Cilincing sea dike started to be developed. Eventually, it would have 2.2 kilometers long. 

From contract since November 2015, the project is constrained by trace permit that issued in April 2016, and amdal in July 2016

Some spun piles with 1.2 meters diameters and 24 meters length began to be installed. It will be planted at a depth of approximately 15 meters. Heavy equipment such as cranes also have started to operate.

Direction of Development and Beach Security, Ciliwung-Cisadane Flood Control Office (BBWSCC). Ilham Firmansyah disclosed sea dike project is targeted to be complete by the end of April 2018. Thus far, it has reached five percent.

Sea Dike Project in Jakarta Has Touched 50 Meters

He continued that sea dike project will across 10 RWs in Kalibaru Urban Village and 2 RWs in Cilincing Urban Village. Its development spends Rp 400 billion. 

"We continue to give an explanation to the residents along with local headmen, even city level about this project that conducted in the sea. Yesterday we also invite more members of the LMK," he told. 

Similar with Kampung Pulo, the dike side is designed to have a five-meter inspection road that can be passed by four-wheeled car.

As for the pile cap dimension, will be developed a sidewalk about three meters thus can be used by locals to relax or spend leisure time.

"There will be a park for vegetation on the side of the dike," he disclosed.
