Tourism Business in Resort Islands Keeps Being Developed

Seribu Islands Regent, Budi Utomo said the resort islands that already fulfill their tax obligations and protect the environment to be given ease of processing permits to develop tourism business.

"We'll give ease of processing permits for those who have met tax obligations and protect the environment," he expressed, Monday (5/8).

Wastewater Quality at Resort Island Is Examined

He conveyed, currently, such resort islands still need support in managing tourism, particularly support in the provision of inpatient rooms and its supporting infrastructures.

"There are still large lands in seven resort islands that can be developed for business, like camping ground. It's based on our study results," he stated.

He added additional building area on the island resort could be realized, as long as it does not break the Coastal Borderline (GSP) and must be according to permit.
