Toll Accident Damaged 5 Cars

Streak accident which involved 7 cars happened on Wiyoto Wiyono Inner City toll road, Friday (6/13), around 10.15 AM. The accident precisely occurred on KM 03,600 Tanjung Priok towards Cawang, in Jatinegara, East Jakarta. No casualty reported, but five cars are heavily damaged. The other two cars were escaped.

A witness, who is also Transjakarta Jatinegara shelter officer, Rahmat (30), said that there was a tronton truck on fast lane and suddenly had a hard braking. A taxi behind the truck was also step on the brake. Then other fiver cars did the same thing.
"Seeing there is an accident, the truck and taxi immediately escaped toward Cawang," he said.

Due to this accident, traffic jam occurred up to Cempaka Putih, Central Jakarta.
Lutfi (40), PT CMNP officer, stated that those five cars were immediately towed to East Jakarta Regional Traffic Unit office. The accident will be resolved peacefully by each drivers.
"The cars were immediately evacuated to avoid worse traffic," said Luthfi.
