East Jakarta Library and Archive Sub-dept. set up a library at Cakung Sub-district Puskesmas. In addition to introduce reading facilities to the people, it is part of the child-friendly city.

"We will continue to introduce reading facilities to the people. Thus it is hoped able to boost the public interest in reading," said Fadlan Zurhan, Head of East Jakarta Library and Archive Sub-dept., Wednesday (6/21).

By doing so, he stated all puskesmas sub-districts in East Jakarta already have library. In future, similar thing will also be done to 65 urban village puskesmas.

For Cakung Puskesmas Library, there have been 500 titles of books, starting from general knowledge, health, fairy tales, and recipe books until cultivation of animals and plants.  

Besides library in puskesmas, his side also has done coordination and guidance along with library management of SMAN 89, SDN Ujung Menteng 01 and SMPN 193 Penggilingan.
