2017 Jakarta Great Sale Festival Officially Closed

Jakarta Governor, Djarot Saiful Hidayat, officially closed the 2017 Jakarta Great Sale Festival (FJHS) last night, Wednesday (7/12).

The closing itself was centered in the Basuki Rahmat Mall lobby, Jatinegara, East Jakarta.

Djarot gave high appreciation to the committees and participants who have succeeded the festival. As known, the festival managed to record retail sales by Rp 16.05 trillion. It was higher compared to last year's festival, which reached Rp 15.74 trillion.

 

"Alhamdullilah (Thank God), there is an increase in financial bookkeeping in 2017 FGJS," he expressed.

According to him, with the festival, people no longer need to shop abroad. All products sold were not inferior to abroad and the price was relatively cheap.

2017 FJGS Chief Executive, Ellen Hidayat uttered, there were 81 malls participated where each of them gave discount up to 70 percent and other promos.

"Financial has increased, that means the festival is still a mainstay program to move the economy in the capital," she stated. 

She added the festival itself was supported by 81 big malls 12 hotels and PD Pasasr Jaya, as well as its ranks that hold bazaars in 40 traditional markets.
