1,067 Vehicles Netted During Orderly Sidewalk in C. Jakarta

Central Jakarta Transportation Sub-dept. has cracked down on 1,067 vehicles during orderly sidewalk that has been running for two weeks,

The sidewalk is designated to the pedestrian, and the riders should be able to respect their rights

"These vehicles are netted, because of parking on the sidewalk and the roadside. We do strict action at the spot," expressed Harlem Simanjuntak, Head of Central Jakarta Transportation Sub-dept., Tuesday (8/15).

Of the 1,067 vehicles, 4 out of them are made in a ticket dossier (BAP) by Transportation Dept. Meanwhile, 405 other motorcycles, 10 three-wheeled vehicles and 123 cars are flattened. Then 382 motorcycles and 143 cars are made in a ticket BAP by the police.

"The sidewalk is designated to the pedestrian, and the riders should be able to respect their rights. If you break the rules, surely our officer will control you," he closed.
