Education Dept.'s Budget Absorption Reached 54 Percent

Approaching the end of the year, the regional working unit (SKPD) is trying to boost the budget absorption. Jakarta Education Dept. is no exception, which until now has absorbed 54 percent of the total budget by Rp 12 trillion.

According to Sopan Adriyanto, Head of Jakarta Education Dept., budget absorption in his rank is already good so far. His dept. will continue to maximize existing activities thus the target absorption of 90 percent until the end of the year can be achieved.

Currently he continued various activities such as total and heavy school renovation is still ongoing. There are no significant obstacles in carrying out this year's activities. It is targeted can be completed on December 20, 2017.
"Now the renovation of the school is still ongoing. If it is done, our absorption will be high," he uttered.
He mentions, 11 out of 102 school buildings that get heavy renovation have been finished. He is optimistic all can be complete on time.
