Acting Jakarta Governor, Basuki 'Ahok' T Purnama disclosed that there are still problems in construction of Mass Rapid Transit (MRT). They are like land acquisition in some lands and unfinished land compensation.
The problem is Public Works Department wrong in giving the land price. They should already know if the 2014 NJOP has increased, but they use the old NJOP system
This is due to the Jakarta Public Works Department wrong in giving the price and is not in accordance with the taxable value of property (NJOP) which has increased.
"The problem is Public Works Department wrong in giving the land price. They should already know if the 2014 NJOP has increased, but they use the old NJOP system," he stated, Friday (6/27).
MRT Construction Delays from Predetermined TargetThe former regent of Belitung East ensures that MRT project be continued, even though there are still some problems such as utility relocation (gas channels, PAM, and Telkom). "We keep on building," he exclaimed.
As reported earlier, Basuki revealed that delays in the construction of the MRT is due to land acquisition problem. One of the locations are yet to be acquired is the Lebak Bulus Police Residential Complex. Thus far, its land acquisition is still waiting for president's permission.
Additionally, land to build a road replacement in Lebak Bulus Station, Cipete, Haji Nawi, Blok A, and Blok M, as well as overpass lanes on Jalan Kartini, is also still under price negotiation process. Whereas, the land should have been acquired in February-March 2014.
At this time, MRT construction has entered in a large-scale development. Even the stage of the process of subway extracting which is the commencement of the large-scale construction phase at HI Roundabout has been conducted since April 4. But now, its process has touched Jalan Sisingamangaraja.
