City Research Council (DRD) is holding focus group discussion (FGD) with urban village heads, residents, academics and private parties. The FGD results will become a slum-structuring strategy in Jakarta through empowerment of RT/RW.
Secretary of the Regional Research Council, Tusy Adibroto said, there are four points discussed in the FGD. That is the study of community empowerment, local innovation, planning and budgeting of development through Development Planning Forum (musrenbang) at level of urban village or sub-district.

"We make an example, as it has great potential area. To generate that potential, the academics, businessmen, government and society should work together to improve it. In this FGD, we do the discussion," he explained.
He hoped, people who have creative potential and entrepreneurship can directly be guided by Jakarta Provincial Government. "I hope after this, if the people who have the potential can be incorporated into the OK OCE program," he stated.
