Head of South Jakarta Cleanliness Sub-Department, Zaenal Syarifuddin acknowledged that his sub-department overwhelmed to overcome the trash problem in South Jakarta. City to Rent Garbage TrucksOf the 99 points, he can only transport trash in 78 points. This is caused by lack of garbage truck. "We only have 126 small and big-sized trucks, while rejuvenation for big truck has not been implemented fully," he expressed.
Fortunately, he got 10 new small-sized trucks from Jakarta Cleanliness Department. "Those are sent to 10 sub-districts in order to transport trash piles on the roadside, etc," he told.
He continued that trash production in South Jakarta reaches 1,160 tons per day. "Most trash is from 10 sub-districts. Thus far, there is no trash surge at the beginning of the fasting month. Perhaps it would be detected in the last week," he stated.
