PT. MRT Updated RJPP and RJMP

PT. Mass Rapid Transit (MRT) Jakarta Director, William Sabandar mentioned, his side have updated the Company's Long-term Plan (RJPP) 2014-2030 and Medium-term Plan (RPJMP) 2014-2023 that regulate about PT. MRT Jakarta plans with other institutions, such as BP BUMD, BAPPEDA, Transportation Sub-dept., BPTJ, and transportation operator in Jabodetabek.

"We update RJPP and RJMP to make it in accordance with Jakarta Government's Medium-term Development Plan (RPJMD) 2017-2022," he said, Tuesday (5/14).

In that chance, his side also synchronizes his company plans with central government plans related to infrastructure acceleration.

Sandi: MRT will Be More Cost-effective Transport

This is done because MRT Jakarta is not seeing itself as an entity who work alone but as a platform who also supports partnership together with stakeholders, both regulator and operator, in improving capacity for each employees and their institutions.

There are six main things that have been reviewed. One of them is Jakarta transportation master plan that should be sync with Jabodetabek transportation master plan, including network planning and tariff policy.

"Besides, connectivity between transportation, subsidy mechanism, asset management, Transit Oriented Development (TOD) components, and funding aspects for route extension or new route addition are also reviewed," he informed.
