Cleaning Done, Monas Re-Opened for Eid ul Fitr Holiday

The National Monument (Monas) located in Gambir, Central Jakarta, is re-opened today or Tuesday (7/29). Residents in Jakarta and its surrounding areas can already visit and enjoy the tours of park with normal tariff. Previously, the recreational site had been closed to the public on the first day of Eid ul Fitr for cleaning process. 

We're targeting to get 4,000 visitor along Eid ul Fitr holiday. We also hold the art and culture stage here

The Monas management does not raise ticket tariff and visitors only charged about Rp 2,000 for children, Rp 3,000 for student, and Rp 5,000 for adult. While to go up the top of Monas, they only pay Rp 2,000 for  children, Rp 5,000 for student, and Rp 10,000 for adult. 

Ramadan, Monas Crowded by Visitors

After buying the ticket, the visitor will get a bracelet with various colors, like orange, yellow, purple, pink, green, signifying the time to go up to the top of the Monas area. Each bracelet has as much time as one hour.

Monas Managemet Unit Head, Rini Hariyani stated her side is targeting 4,000 visitors along the Eid ul Fitr holiday. Therefore, the entertainment of art and culture will be held in the Monas by displaying dance and art from various areas. 

"We're targeting to get 4,000 visitor along Eid ul Fitr holiday. We also hold the art and culture stage here," she told, Tuesday (7/29).

She added the Monas operational will open at 8 AM-3 PM.
