Acting Gov. Inaugurates Rorotan GOR

Acting Jakarta Governor, Saefulah, inaugurated the Rorotan GOR development on Jalan Sungai Kendal, RT 03/08 Rorotan Urban Village, North Jakarta. The inauguration itself was marked by a groundbreaking through Saefullah.

Development uses the obligation of developers on the city's 2.5-hectare land

It is targeted that the GOR development on a 2.5-hectare land will be complete in April 2019 by spending Rp 27.5 billion.

"Development uses the obligation of developers on the city's 2.5-hectare land. The GOR will be completed by the outdoor and indoor facilities," he expressed, Wednesday (10/31).

He explained that indoor facilities that will be developed are sports building and facilities for volleyball, basketball and badminton. While the outdoor facilities consist of a soccer field and a jogging track.

The public facilities in Rorotan Urban Village area that directly borders the Bekasi City, West Java Province is not yet sufficient enough. In future, Jakarta Provincial Government will seek to develop some facilities such as health and education.

"DPRD members have encouraged the development of these facilities. They are indeed very much needed by the citizens," he stated.
