Until Now, No Solution on Project of Bintara-KBT Waterway

The construction project of Bintara (Bekasi City) waterway to East Flood Canal (KBT) keeps getting criticism from East Jakarta Administration. This is because, until now, there has been no solution between the East Jakarta Administration and Bekasi Administration or project implementer. Moreover, this project worker representative has yet to show the project documents that damaged park facilities on Jalan I Gusti Ngurah Rai, Pondok Kopi.

East Jakarta Mayor, HR Krisdianto disclosed that good faith among such regions is very important. Considering, it is related to the East Jakarta Administration assets were destroyed.

Bintara Waterway-KBT Project Stopped Forcibly

"Not only between regions, the clash could happen if there is no coordination. We're rather than inhibit, at least no party will be not harmed," he expressed, Wednesday (9/3).

Krisdianto disclosed that there must be coordination with the region side thus conflict can be avoided. Such problem will be resolved at the level of leadership in city administration.

"The point is we remain stop the project until there is a recommendation letter from governor, we have to excuse if want to dispose trash to Bekasi. Even, there is also compensation, and all should be clear," he said.

Assistant of East Jakarta Development and Environment, Andriyansyah added project implementer who come cannot show the documents and company profile that work on the project.

According to him, until now, there has been no communication between Bekasi Administration with East Jakarta Administration.

"We have to ask for permit when wanted to build a waterway in Citarum-Cisadane with Banten Governor, Rano Karno. But fellow government, there is like no rule," he asserted.

At this time, he added, his side has instructed East Jakarta Parks Sub-Department to inventory the damaged assets owned by city administration. "If they remain continue the project, we will take this issue into the realm of law," he uttered.
