We Have Done the Main Task Well, City Secretary Says

Our budget posture is actually better than other provinces, meaning we have done the main task well

The city administration held a monitoring meeting on the execution of the 2019 City Budget (APBD), on Thursday (10/17). The meeting was placed in the Pattern Room, Jakarta City Hall and was attended by hundreds of Regional Working Units (SKPD) and DKI Regional Work Units (UKPD).

City Secretary Saefullah said, in the budget, all programs to meet the needs and welfare of the citizens had been implemented well. It is evidenced by the rapid development of infrastructure and an increase in education and health.

"Our budget posture is actually better than other provinces, meaning we have done the main task well," he expressed.

He also invites all regional working units to rationalize expenditure in the budget to maximize all the needs of the citizens. The expenditure in question is telephone, water, electricity, internet, eating and drinking, supplies, fuel, vehicle maintenance operations, spare parts of vehicles, equipment and official duty travel.

"We must side with the interests of the larger community," he stated.
