Indonesian Red Cross (PMI) of Thousand Islands deploys 10 personnel to assist security personnel for ensuring tourist destinations in inhabited islands are safe during New Year holiday.
Two personnel will standby in each posts to help the security
According to Thousand Islands PMI Leader, Natsir Sabara, those 10 personnel will standby in five Thousand Islands' Security Posts in Pramuka Island, Harapan Island, Pari Island, Tidung Island, and Untung Jawa Island.

"Two personnel will standby in each posts to help the security," he mentioned, Monday (12/30).
Thousand Islands Regent, Husein Murad explained, his side deploys personnel from Satpol PP, Police, TNI (Indonesian Army), BPBD (National Disaster Management Agency), Gulkarmat (Fire Handling and Rescue) Sub-department, and medics from Puskesmas (Community Health Center), and social institutions to standby in each posts.
"By providing security post, we hope we can make our visitors to feel secure and comfortable while enjoying their holiday," he mentioned.
