Prohibition of Using Plastic Bag Socialized in 153 Traditional Markets

Perumda Pasar Jaya socialized Governor Regulation No. 142/2019 regarding Obligations to Use Environmentally Friendly Shopping Bags at Shopping Centers, Supermarkets and Traditional Markets to the merchants in 153 traditional markets because this regulation will be applied from July 1, 2020.

We have socialized it to merchants and customers for not using plastic bags anymore

Perumda Pasar Jaya President Director, Arief Nasrudin mentioned, socialization was given directly to the merchants and customers. His side also installed banners to inform people about this regulation.

"We have socialized it to merchants and customers for not using plastic bags anymore," he mentioned, Thursday (1/9).

Perumda Pasar Jaya Marketing Manager, Gatra Vaganza stated, his side will also prohibit the use of plastic bags in 162 locations under Perumda Pasar Jaya management.

"Now, our outlets are not providing plastic bag anymore. We always remind our customers to bring their own shopping bag," he conveyed.
