The GSG07 Farmer Group, RW 07, Kembangan Utara, Kembangan, West Jakarta, received a visit from students of Sahid Jakarta University, Monday (2/10).
This visit is to conduct research on the development of urban farming
The visit aimed to study the development of urban farming such as the green alley and the impact of it, whether it can improve the welfare of citizens or not.
"This visit is to conduct research on the development of urban farming," expressed West Jakarta Maritime, Agriculture and Food Security (KPKP) Sub-agency Head, Ghausal Akbar.
This Year, Go Jakfarm Program Targets to Plant 200,000 CropsAfter the meeting, there would be a cooperation between the KPKP Agency with Sahid Jakarta University thus students can learn firsthand about urban farming.
He added that GSG07 Farmer Group is under the West Jakarta KPKP Sub-agency. Besides greening the environment, the existence of this farmer group is also to improve family welfare.
"Earlier we together with the lecturers also harvested kale, celery and so on," he stated.
