In order to prevent coronavirus disease (COVID-19) transmission, Tidung Island Urban Village, South Thousand Islands tightens access for people who want to exit and enter the island by applying "open and close" system.

Tidung Island Urban Village Head, Hafsah mentioned, this regulation was agreed collectively between urban village apparatuses, community leaders, and religious leaders.
"Access to enter and exit the island will be tightened from today until the next 14 days. It applies to all residents of Tidung Island," he asserted, Monday (3/30).

."Anyone who violates the regulation and get caught to be out of the house during the raid, will be isolated for 14 days. That is our agreement," he stated.
He hopes residents can carry out the collective agreements by not doing activities outside the house, such as gathering, while maintaining their distance with others and have a clean and healthy lifestyle.
"We reminds our residents to call or WA health center (puskesmas) officers, urban village head, or government section head whose numbers have been previously informed when they have the symptoms," he closed.
