Temporary Closure of 7 MRT Stations Runs Well

Until this day, PT. MRT Jakarta (Perseroda) has closed 7 stations temporarily in order to support Large-scale Social Restrictions (PSBB) implementation in Jakarta.

Recently, number of passengers has declined significantly with total around 3,000 - 4,000 passengers per day

PT. MRT Jakarta Corporate Secretary, Muhammad Kamaluddin informed, those 7 stations are Haji Nawi, Blok A, ASEAN, Istora, Setiabudi, Senayan, and Bendungan Hilir (Benhil) Stations. During the closure, his side mentioned that his side didn't find any significant problems related to MRT service to the customers.

"Recently, number of passengers has declined significantly with total around 3,000 - 4,000 passengers per day," he mentioned, Monday (4/27).

After closing the stations for a week, his side distributed survey forms to the customers to find out their responses. The result will be evaluated to make better policies in the future.

"At least we need to survey 500 people. The result will be evaluated and used as our reference in making future policies," he explained.

Regarding the result, his side estimated it would be completed next week.
