Thousand Islands SDA Sub-agency Head, Abdul Rauf conveyed, SWRO has been built on budget year 2018 - 2019 until early of 2020 in order to improve the clean water production of Brackish Water Reverse Osmosis (BWRO).

"SWRO construction in Sebira Island for this year should be postponed until next year because of COVID-19," he asserted, Wednesday (5/13).
According to him, BWRO can operate for 16 hours because of its limited capacity to produce water. While SWRO can operate for 24 hours because it has higher capacity.
