2,338 Sacrificial Animals in West Jakarta Passed Health TestsAccording to Setiawan, after the sacrificial animal slaughter, the officers checked whether the animals’ liver contains tapeworm or not, or beak hardened.
“Until now, we found three cows infected with tapeworm in their liver and their beaks hardened. Two of those cows were found during slaughter at Petamburan BNI office, Slipi, West Jakarta, and the other one in animal slaughter at BPK office on Jalan Gatot Subroto, Central Jakarta,” he uttered.
In addition, Setiawan urges people not to wrap the sacrificial animal meat in black plastic bags.
“This is because black plastic bags are indicated made from recycled materials. Thus, we urge people to use clear plastic bags,” he said.
