Jakarta Manpower and Transmigration Department is going to send 10 families to Sulawesi for the 2014 transmigration program. They are sent because they have passed verification phase and met requirement to undergo such program.
The requirement is only showing Jakarta ID card and family card
“Transmigration program is an annual program of Manpower and Transmigration Ministry,” said Head of Jakarta Manpower and Transmigration Department, Prijono, Sunday (10/5).
This year, Prijono continued, Manpower and Transmigration Ministry provides a ration to 20 families for transmigration program. From that number, only 10 families passed the verification phase.
Manpower Dept. Does Survey the KHL“The requirement is only showing Jakarta ID card and family card. Those families signed up in January. We’re just facilitating, while the recruitment is done by sub-department. 10 families will be sent to Poso at the end of this year,” he stated.
Prior to departure, the 10 families have been provided with two-week trainings and work skills such as planting and so on. After arriving in Sulawesi, they will be given direct training on a two-hectare land and also get lodging facility.
With this program, Prijono hopes the population growth rate in the capital city could be pressed and workers working in areas that are lack of the human resources could be increased.
