Second Bansos Distribution, Batu Ampar Receives 10,579 Packages

As many as 10,579 packages of social assistance (Bansos) have been delivered for 6 RWs in Batu Ampar Urban Village, Kramat Jati, East Jakarta, on Tuesday (5/19).

Batu Ampar Urban Village Head, Achmad Ruslan stated, his side received more packages than on the first one with total 10,579 packages.

"Alhamdulillah, second bansos distribution can be carried out well. There are more packages than the first phase. Thus more people receive the assistance and it can be distributed more evenly," he explained while monitoring bansos distribution at RW 04 Batu Ampar.

In order to distribute the assistance faster, his side deployed 93 joint personnel from PPSU, ASN, Urban Village, and TNI/Police.

Through this Bansos, his side hopes more people can comply with Large-scale Social Restrictions (PSBB) by staying at home, washing hands often, wearing mask while doing activities outside, maintaining physical distance, and others.

"It is our effort to prevent COVID-19 transmission," he stated.
