North Jakarta Library and Archive Sub-agency (Sudinpusip) will hold online talkshow with theme 'Literacy's Role During the Pandemic Period' on Wednesday (6/3) at 3 PM . It will broadcast via live Instagram at sudinpusipju account.

We try to motivate the young generation to keep learning

Through this event, North Jakarta Sudinpusip's Library Section Head, Iwan Hery Susanto conveyed, his side wants to maintain and improve the literacy spirit in the midst of COVID-19 pandemic. Even though it is a live stream, his side ensures to carry it out in accordance with health protocols in Large-scale Social Restrictions (PSBB) period.

"This is the second talkshow. The first one was held on last Sunday (5/31) with theme 'Coastal Literacy Talks'," he added. Tuesday (6/2).

For the second talkshow, his side will invite None Buku Persahabatan 2019, Sri Mulyani Zumrotin, as the speaker and Muhammad Khaidir as the host.

In this talkshow, his side wants to review literacy tips in the pandemic situation, such as using electronic book service via i-Jakarta app and other literacy online sites. Even though staying at home, he expects young generation can easily access the literacy on internet.

"We try to motivate the young generation to keep learning. Even though they need to stay at home because of the pandemic, it doesn't mean to stop their productivity," he explained.
