Bank DKI Continues to Encourage People to Use Noncash Transactions

The Bank DKI again promotes noncash transactions to the public to avoid physical contact considering the operating hours of the public transportation sector have returned to normal during the transitional large-scale social restrictions (PSBB).

Bank DKI Secretary Herry Djufraini expressed, JakCard and JakLingko card holders who want to top up balance may access via JakOne Mobile on a smartphone that has a near field communication (NFC) feature.

"It is applied to prevent the coronavirus transmission through physical distancing thus this pandemic can pass quickly and economic activity returns to normal," he expressed, Monday (6/15).

To top up the balance, customer just to have to log in to the JakOne Mobile app on the smartphone, select the JakCard refill option, put JakCard on the back of the smartphone and tap the 'paste card' option, select the nominal charging and select the source of funds from the JakOne Pay electronic money or savings account.

"Besides that, they can also top up GoPay balance via JakOne Mobile," he told.

Apart from public transportation, JakCard may also be used as an entrance ticket to tourist areas such as, National Monument (Monas), Art and Ceramics Museum, Sports Venues, Ragunan Zoo and Ancol.

He added one service that can help to reduce physical contact and cash usage is JakOne Mobile, which is a digital financial service app consisting of mobile banking and digital wallet for daily necessity transactions at merchants that work with Bank DKI.

"It can be used to make bill payments such as telephone, PDAM, electricity, BPJS Kesehatan, zakat, plane or train tickets, urban and rural land and building tax (PBB-P2) and vehicle taxes (PKB)," he stated.
