319 Personnel will Be Deployed to Monitor Bicycle Track in North Jakarta

As many as 319 joint personnel will be deployed to monitor 6 roads in North Jakarta that will be used for bicycle track on Sunday (6/28).

Personnel will be deployed as PSBB supervisor

North Jakarta Transportation Sub-agency Head, Harlem Simanjuntak stated, those roads will be closed temporarily for motor vehicles because it will be used for cyclists and pedestrians. Those 6 roads are Jl. Danau Sunter Selatan, Maju Bersama Island, Kelapa Hibrida, Sisi Inspeksi Kali Sunter RBS, Benyamin Suaeb and Jl. Arteri Pegangsaan Dua.

"For its preparation, we have coordinated it with police and TNI. There are 319 joint personnel in total who will support this activity," he mentioned, Friday (6/26).

Personnel on the field will monitor residents who visit the location to comply with health protocols by wearing mask, carrying hand sanitizer, and maintaining physical distance. At the entrance way, personnel will be deployed to count the visitors thus not exceed the limit of road capacity.

The length of bicycle track which use 6 roads in North Jakarta reaches between 854 - 2,220 meters.

"Personnel will be deployed as PSBB supervisor, where they will monitor number of person in the location based on the situation on the road," he asserted.
