44 Qurban Animals Distributed to Residential Islands, Thousand Islands

On behalf of residents, thank you to the president, governor and all parties who have donated their qurban animals in Thousand Islands

The Thousand Islands Regency distributes 44 qurban animals comprising 12 cows and 32 goats to residential islands through traditional vessels whose allocation is regulated by each urban village.

Thousand Islands Regent Husein Murad said those qurban animals were from President Joko Widodo, Jakarta Governor Anies Baswedan, Baznas Baziz, resort owners and community organizers, as well as regional working units (SKPD/UKPD).

Regent Has Collected 44 Qurban Animals

"On behalf of residents, thank you to the president, governor and all parties who have donated their qurban animals in Thousand Islands," he stated, on the sidelines of the handover of qurban animals at Kaliadem Pier, North Jakarta.

He added 946 kg of simental cow from the president would be slaughtered on Tidung Island during Idul Adha.

"This is a pride, as it gets the attention of the president to slaughter the qurban animals in Thousand Islands," he admitted.
