Food and Blanket Distributed to Fire Victims

The East Jakarta Social Sub-department will not supply donation for the Berlan fire victim because of no more budget allocation.

Last night, we also have distributed food and blanket for the victims

"We'll not give the charity for the passed away family. The post budget has been erased already," said Masyudi, Head East Jakarta Social Sub-department, Wednesday (10/15).

According to him, in 2013, the heir of the passed away victim got Rp 3 million of charity.

Fire in Berlan Burned A Woman

The passed away victim at Berlan is allegedly named Ngatiyem (55), a grocery seller. Her body was found during the debris cleaning.

Masyudi added that his side is still collecting data of primary, junior, and high school students in Berlan and Pulogadung who became the victim to get uniform and other school tools.

"Last night, we also have distributed food and blanket for the victims. Today, we also prepare food for victims in Berlin and Pulogadung," he added.

Meanwhile, East Jakarta Red Cross PR, Dewi Rahmadania, explained aid distributed to Berlan are in form of 460 blankets, 460 mats, and 1,300 bread.

Then in Pulogadung, her side distributed 20 sarong, 20 blankets, and 200 bread.
