June-Early September, 394 Companies in South Jakarta Punished

373 are given written warnings, 13 are temporarily closed and 8 are penalized for paying fines

The South Jakarta Manpower, Transmigration (Nakertrans) and Energy Sub-agency has noted that as many as 394 out of 681 companies have violated the transitional PSBB rules along June to September 9.

South Jakarta Nakertrans and Energy Sub-agency Head Sudrajat said most of them did not apply body temperature checking, maintain physical distancing, apply the 50 percent capacity rule and the mandatory use of masks.

"373 are given written warnings, 13 are temporarily closed and 8 are penalized for paying fines," he expressed, Thursday (9/10).

During transitional PSBB, 65 workers in 18 companies were infected with coronavirus.

"Therefore, in the upcoming PSBB on September 14, six special personnel will be dispatched to monitor health protocol policies in 11 business fields that are permitted to operate," he stressed.
