Taman Sari Sector Police Chief AKBP Tri Suhartanto said that 269 of his men and 100 personnel from East Kalimantan Police are safeguarding the shopping centers in Taman Sari, especially the Glodok Shopping Center.

“The preparation has been done since before president’s inauguration. It is conducted to keep the situation at shopping centers in Taman Sari remains conducive,” he stated, Monday (10/20).

Besides securing shopping centers in Taman Sari, Suhartanto told that 100 policemen are also dispatched to shopping centers along Jalan S Parman, such as Taman Anggrek Mall, Central Park, and surrounding areas.

Meanwhile, West Jakarta Metro Resort Police Traffic Unit Chief AKBP Ipung Purnomo informed that the safeguard of shopping centers in his jurisdiction is applied until Wednesday (10/22).

“To anticipate undesirable things, the safeguard of shopping centers is increased and will be applied until D+2,” he told.
