Grebek Lumpur, 200 Sacks of Mud Collected From Channels in Pademangan Timur

As many as 100 joint personnel from urban villages civil apparatuses, North Jakarta Water Resources (SDA) Sub-agency, Bina Marga Sub-agency, Gulkarmat Sub-agency, PPSU, as well as local residents carried out Grebek Lumpur activity by cleaning channels in RW 07 and 10, Pademangan Timur, Pademangan, on Sunday (10/11).

From this cleaning work, joint personnel collected 200 sacks of mud from the channels.

Pademangan Timur Urban Village Head, Bambang Mulyanto conveyed, it also involved tens local residents to participate in Grebek Lumpur activity by implementing COVID-19 health protocols.

"Its existing channels can't be functioned optimally because it is full of mud. Thus it is potential to cause inundation," he explained, Monday (10/12).

Not only dredging mud with shovel and hoe, his side also deployed a firetruck to help cleaning clogged water channels.

"We are not only clean the mud but also garbage from the channels," he mentioned.
