KSBB, Hundreds of MSMEs Have Received Aid Packages

The city administration collaborates with PT Bukalapak gave a package of personal protective equipment in the form of masks and hand sanitizers to 250 coached MSMEs or Jakpreneurs affected by COVID-19 crisis in Jakarta, on Thursday (11/5).

We are willing to facilitate digitalization assistance and training for Jakpreneurs 

City Secretary Sri Haryati strongly appreciated it and expected to be sustainable in order to support MSMEs in Indonesia, especially Jakarta, to survive and help the economic recovery in Jakarta.

"The issues in Jakarta cannot be solved by the administration alone, but must also together. That means the private sector also has concern for them. I appreciate that hopefully it goes well and develops," she told, at Block G Building, Jakarta City Hall.

She also hoped that this cooperation could be more strengthened in terms of training and coaching for Jakpreneurs. One of the highlights was digital or online marketing.

"We are willing to facilitate digitalization assistance and training for Jakpreneurs," she explained.

PT Bukalapak CEO Muhammad Rachmat Kaimuddin said, besides the aid package, his party was also going to cooperate with the administration in providing online training and product marketing aid.

"We want them to go digital. We are open to cooperation with hundreds of thousands of Jakpreneurs thus they can understand how to use digital technology to run their business which is currently needed in a pandemic like this," he stressed.

One of the traders of various juices at JP 06 Jalan Kebon Sirih, Sulaiman appreciated the KSBB aid package that was given. He hoped that digital marketing training could be realized.

"We need support and guidance, especially since there is a continuation as to what we are waiting for. Moreover most traders do not understand digitalization," he stated.
