South Jakarta PMI Has Done 4,450 Disinfectant Sprayings

It is done to follow up on requests from residents and agencies for the sterilization of COVID-19

The South Jakarta Indonesian Red Cross (PMI) has noted that they have sprayed disinfectants up to 4,450 times in a number of locations from March to December 9.

South Jakarta PMI's Organization and Communication Division Head Dedet Mulyadi said that it was conducted in government buildings, schools, public and social facilities, residential areas, and houses of worship.

"It is done to follow up on requests from residents and agencies for the sterilization of COVID-19," he said, Friday (12/11).

From 4.450, he told, 3,223 were conducted during PSBB period and the rest 1,227 were done during the transitional PSBB.

By so it was expected to create a sense of safe and comfortable activity while implementing health protocols by wearing masks, washing hands and maintaining physical distancing.

"It is actually done in 488,029 houses," he stated.
