The Kebon Pala Urban Village, Makasar, East Jakarta is offering free takjil (light iftar snacks) and packaged rice meals to local residents observing Ramadan.
Kebon Pala Urban Village Head Faisal Rizal expressed it was available in the front of the urban village office for easy of retrieval.

He explained takjil became available at 4:30 PM until this evening, the contents were different every day. Starting from kolak pisang (sweetened banana compote), kolak kentang (sweetened potatoes compote), Chinese henna, zalacca seeds, various fried foods, nasi rames (steamed rice served with various dishes) with various types of nutritious side dishes.
"So, we invite all parties to collaborate in providing takjil during Ramadan," he stated.
