East Jakarta Mayor, Muhammad Anwar handed over 15 carts and business capital to people with visual impairment, on Thursday (5/20) afternoon.

Those trading facilities were given as an assistance from Jakarta Government and CSR to improve economy of people with disabilities.

"We give them 15 carts along with capital. Moreover, we have placed them in predetermined location. We collaborate with various parties to help people with disability thus they can be entrepreneur and professional," he conveyed.

According to him, people with disabilities were placed in mini markets that are safe and comfortable and do not violate public order.

Jakarta Blind Aspiration House Secretary General, Yogi Matsuni stated, this facility is very helpful for blind people during the current pandemic.

"Now we can be productive again with assistance from East Jakarta Government," he said.
