In order to improve Government Internal Control System (SPIP) in Jakarta, the Jakarta Government has created Risk Management and Control Information System (Si-Perisai). Jakarta Vice Governor, Ahmad Riza Patria attended Kick-Off event of Jakarta Government Risk Management Implementation through Si-Perisai at Jakarta City Hall Bapeda Pola Room, Central Jakarta, Wednesday (6/9).

On this occasion, he appreciated Jakarta Inspectorate for building system as support for optimizing SPIP implementation, especially in managing risk.

"It is an important event as our effort in providing innovation to increase Government Internal Control System (SPIP) implementation in Jakarta Government, since risk management is needed to support City to achieve organizational goals effectively and efficiently, as well as to create a good governance," he conveyed, as quoted from Jakarta PPID Press Release.

According to him, Si-Perisai is introduced as a solution in facilitating risk management implementation and improving SPIP effectiveness in Jakarta Government. It is hoped to facilitate all agencies in achieving their performance targets, as well as supporting Jakarta Government in achieving its goals.

He expected that implementing good risk management through Si-Perisai can help agencies to obtain positive values, such as in achieving their targets, eliminating fraud, complying with regulations, becoming more effective and efficient, increasing public trust, and increasing resilience.

"In order to realize those things, it takes commitment from all apparatuses to implement risk management in their agencies and I instruct all regional heads to implement risk management in their agencies through Si-Perisai in accordance with Gubernatorial Regulation No. 2020 concerning Risk Management for Jakarta Government," he added.

Through cooperation between Financial and Development Supervisory Agency and Jakarta Inspectorate, he expected them to supervise, assist, control, monitor, and evaluate risk management implementation in order to achieve specified goals.

"Si-Perisai system is also implemented to improve Jakarta Government's Financial Statement that has been entrusted with Unqualified Opinion (WTP) from BPK RI for the fourth time. Let us continue to maintain this positive thing in the future in order to gain more trust from Jakarta residents," he said.

This event was also attended by Deputy Head of BPKP for Supervision of Regional Financial Administration, Dadang Kurnia; Jakarta Regional Secretary, Marullah Matali; Jakarta BPKP Representative Head, Samono; and Jakarta Government Officials.
