Thousand Islands KPKP Sub-agency Head, Devi Lidya encouraged all residents and stakeholders to strengthen collaboration in preserving marine ecosystem in Thousand Islands waters.

Cleanliness of water in Thousand Islands is maintained since it can be seen from increasing number of dolphins that often appear in waters between Karya Island and Panggang Island, North Thousand Island Sub-district.
"Coinciding with world ocean day, 30 bottlenose dolphins appeared on the water surface. It indicates that our waters are getting cleaner and more comfortable for marine animals," she closed.
