9,910 Sacrificial Animals in South Jakarta are Declared Healthy

South Jakarta Maritime Agriculture and Food Security (KPKP) Sub-agency had examined health of 9,910 sacrificial animals (qurban) as of Wednesday (7/14).
It means they are old enough and no one is disabled or sick, thus they are considered fit for sacrifice
South Jakarta KPKP Sub-agency Head, Hasudungan Sidabalok conveyed, those 9,910 sacrificial animals were spread over 139 animal shelters in 10 sub-districts.
KPKP Has Checked 38,864 Sacrificial Animals in 530 LocationsIn detail, his side had examined 485 animals in Pasar Minggu, 1,846 animals in Jagakarsa, 2,026 animals in Pancoran, 951 animals in Setiabudi, 822 animals in Pesanggrahan, 1,971 animals in Cilandak, 605 animals in Tebet, 243 animals in Mampang Prapatan, 435 animals in Kebayoran Bary, and 526 animals in Kebayoran Lama.
"We have checked health of total 9,910 sacrificial animals consisting of cows, buffaloes, goats, and sheep, by checking their teeth, nails, eyes, ears, mouth, and nose, as well as their age," he explained, Thursday (7/15).
Those sacrificial animals, he informed, consisted of 3,267 cows, 70 buffaloes, 5,782 goats, and 791 sheep.
They were imported by qurban sellers from Bima, Boyolali, Semarang, Bogor, Jonggol, Cianjur, Wonogiri, Tasikmalaya, Wonosobo, Magetan, Pati, Bali, Lampung, Sukabumi, and Banjarnegara.
"The result, 9,910 sacrificial animals are all in good and healthy condition. It means they are old enough and no one is disabled or sick, thus they are considered fit for sacrifice," he stated.
