Jakarta Government continues to control COVID-19 pandemic. Not only implementing 3T, COVID-19 vaccination is also being promoted to priority groups. However, community participation is still needed to remain disciplined in implementing health protocols.
In the past week, 182,889 people were tested using PCR
Given that COVID-19 vaccination can only reduce the impact of exposure, there is still a possibility of COVID-19 transmission if people don't follow health protocols. It can be seen from positive cases that are still fluctuating and now tend to increase. It needs cooperation from all sides to break the transmission chain.
Jakarta Health Agency's Disease Prevention and Control Division Head, Dwi Oktavia stated, based on the latest data from Jakarta Health Agency, PCR test has been carried out to 22,693 specimens.

She mentioned that WHO is targeting to test 1,000 people using PCR per one million population per week (not specimens), meaning that WHO target for Jakarta is at least 10,645 people should be tested per week. "This target has been exceeded by Jakarta for some time. In the past week, 182,889 people were tested using PCR. While number of people tested for PCR in Jakarta has now reached 484,374 per million population," she explained as quoted from PPID Press Release.
Number of active cases is declined by 12,107 cases thus in total it reached 51,995 active cases as of today (including people who are still being treated/isolated). Moreover, for total confirmed cases in Jakarta as of today reached 794,935 cases. It should be noted that positive antigen test results in Jakarta were not included in total positive cases because all were reconfirmed by PCR.
From total positive cases, 731,504 people recovered with recovery rate of 92% and 11,436 people died with mortality rate of 1.4%. While mortality rate in Indonesia reached 2.7%
Positivity rate in Jakarta in the past week reached 23.9%, while the percentage of positive cases in total reached 15.4%. WHO also set standard positive cases percentage no more than 5%.
Meanwhile, vaccination process is still ongoing. For vaccination program, first dose vaccines had been given to 7,098,002 (80.5%), where 47,354 people had been injected with first dose vaccines today. While second dose vaccines had been given to 2,238,876 people (25.4%), where 17,010 people had been injected with second dose vaccines today.
President has set vaccination target in Jakarta that should be fulfilled by the end of August with total 7.5 million people aged 12 years and over. While Jakarta Governor, Anies Baswedan has set target 8.8 million Jakarta residents to be vaccinated to achieve herd immunity.
Related to vaccination for residents aged 12-17 years, the first dose vaccines had been given to 45.3% of target. While for 18-59 years, the first dose vaccines had been given 85.5% of target and second dose vaccines 24.1% of the target. For elderly group, first dose vaccines had been given to 69.1% of target and second dose vaccines 59.3% of target. While for mutual cooperation vaccination (Vaksinasi Gotong Royong) program, first dose vaccines had been given to 148,498 people and second dose vaccines to 88,641 people.
Jakarta Satpol PP also gives sanction for anyone who don't wear mask and violate health protocols, and intensifies guest book data collection, as well as other forms of PSBB violations, such as in restaurants, business places, and industrial places. The imposed sanctions are in form of social work, fines, temporary suspension of activity, and revocation of business license.
Based on daily report submitted by Jakarta Satpol PP on July 25, 2021, at 18:00, Satpol PP had collected fine Rp 4,300,000 from mask operation and monitoring restaurants, cafes and food stalls, offices, workplaces, and business places. During the operation, 4 restaurants, food stalls, and cafes were temporarily suspended.

By registering online, people can choose time and place of vaccination, as well as conduct online health pre-screening test.
Vaccination sites can be checked through google maps app. Only by writing 'vaksin COVID-19', people can get information about vaccination site locations and how to get there.

- Residents with ID cards from outside Jakarta, but domiciled in Jakarta (bringing domicile letter obtained from RT administrator, not necessarily from RT Head)
