25 Street Vendors Raided in Cengkareng

Satpol PP officer controlled 25 PKL (street vendor) along Jalan Outer Ring Road, Cengkareng, West Jakarta on Monday (11/24). The raid was held because their kiosks were built on green line and make the park damaged.

The 25 street vendors were raided by 30 Satpol PP officers from Cengkareng sub-district. "We often raid PKL kiosk at there, but they still stubborn and we control them again now," said Ali Maulana Hakim, Cengkareng Sub-district Head.
The land that is used by PKL to sell their good, was actually the green line with trees and flower vase inside it. But, the area becomes dry after the trees trimmed gradually and the vase lost.

Yusuf (43), one of street vendors said, he was selling at there for 3 years and often controlled. "I keep selling here carelessly because the place is strategic and I difficult to find new place," he uttered.
