Dozens of Trees Planted at Mandor Hasan TMB and Casia Park

Tree planting is a form of socialization and education to the community about the importance of farming and reforestation

Jakarta Parks and City Forest Agency has planted around 44 trees in Mandor Hasan TMB and 16 other trees in Casia Park, Bambu Apus, Cipayung, East Jakarta, on Friday (11/19).

According to Suzi Marzitawati, Agency Head of Jakarta Parks and City Forest, tree planting was a routine agenda every Friday.

61 Trees Planted in Jankes Munjul Green Open Space

"Mandor Hasan TMB and Casia Park have 6,140 square meters width. Mandor Hasan TMB is close to and connected to Casia Park," she expressed.

He explained, as many as 60 trees planted consisted of Cambodia Fossil (10 trees), Mahogany (20 trees), Tabebuya (15 trees) and Pule (15 trees).

"Tree planting is a form of socialization and education to the community about the importance of farming and reforestation. Besides making the environment beautiful, this tree is very useful for improving air quality," he stated.

As for the information, the tree planting this time was participated by East Jakarta Forestry Agency Head, Romi Sidharta; East Jakarta Parks and City Forest Sub-agency Head, Christian Tamora Hutagalung, as well as 50 state civil apparatuses (ASN) and PJLP.

It referred to Gubernatorial Regulation number 17/2021 on Control of Climate Disaster Impacts and number 24/2021 on Management and Protection of Trees.
