Jakarta Government Hands Over 4,718 Aid Packages Through Fiive Aggregators

Jakarta Government continues to open opportunities for community to share with others who need assistance due to COVID-19 pandemic through Large-scale Social Collaboration (KSBB) program. This time, PAM Jaya as one of Jakarta's BUMDs took a part in KSBB program together with 5 Food KSBB Aggregators, namely ACT, Jakarta BAZNAS (BAZIS), Dompet Dhuafa, Lazis Muhammadiyah, and Lazis NU.

It was done symbolically by Jakarta Vice Governor, Ahmad Riza Patria and PAM Jaya President Director, Priyatno Bambang Hernowo by handing over 4,718 food packages to 5 aggregators in Pola Room, Jakarta City Hall, Central Jakarta, Tuesday (12/15).

He hopes the assistance can be distributed as well as possible and can ease the burden on Jakarta people who are trying to recover from impact of COVID-19 pandemic.

"I appreciate all parties involved in collaboration to help others in need. Of course, it is very much needed by the beneficiaries who are struggling in the midst of COVID-19 pandemic. This participation hopefully would relieve burden of our brothers and sisters who are in difficult conditions in meeting their daily needs, because their economy is impacted," he said in his remarks, quoted from Jakarta PPID Press Release.

He also wanted collaborative activities to bring many benefits such as KSBB program, to be followed by other elements of society in Jakarta to help ease burden on the community; especially for those who are affected by economic difficulties, lost their jobs due to layoffs, their business have been disrupted due to COVID-19 pandemic.

"I hope today's activity inspires all parties to care and share with the community," he added.

Jakarta KSBB Program is a form of believe that Jakartans have a very strong sense of solidarity and togetherness in dealing with COVID-19 pandemic. Therefore, Jakarta Government encourages all elements of society to collaborate and take an important role in helping Jakarta residents in needed.

Meanwhile, PAM Jaya President Director, Priyatno Bambang Hernowo explained, through Food KSBB program, PAM Jaya wants to optimize role of easing burden on people affected by COVID-19 pandemic. These are include building with around 179 sinks in public spaces, RPTRAs, and vaccination service.

Food KSBB program that is a commitment of PAM Jaya as one of Jakarta Government's BUMDs in order to support in handling the impact of pandemic in economic sector.

"We and 5 aggregators namely, ACT, Jakarta BAZNAS (BAZIS), Dompet Dhuafa, Lazis NU, and Lazis Muhammadiyah expected it will be an effort to reduce impact of the pandemic in economic sector. So, Jakarta (continues) to rise," he mentioned.

In detail, 4,718 aid packages were provided by PAM Jaya through Food KSBB Aggregators, include:

- ACT: 1,000 packages for West Jakarta and East Jakarta.

- Jakarta BAZNAS (BAZIS): 2,218 packages for Thousand Islands.

- Dompet Dhuafa: 500 packages for South Jakarta.

- Laziz Muhammadiyah: 500 packages for the North Jakarta area.

- Laziz NU: 500 packages for Central Jakarta area.
