250 East Jakarta Joint Personnel Ready to Monitor Situation on New Year's Eve

Total 250 joint personnel assigned to guard on new year's eve were gathered at East Jakarta Mayor Office's Yard, Friday (12/31). It was led by East Jakarta Vice Mayor, Hendra Hidayat.

He said that joint personnel from ASN and task forces of all SKPDs and UKPDs will be deployed to patrol the areas from 20:00.

"I hope all activities can run well and situation can be safe and conducive for residents," he conveyed.

Central Jakarta LH Deploys 255 Cleaning Officers

According to him, patrol will be focused in locations that have potential to be center of crowd, such as East Flood Canal (KBT), Taman Mini Indonesia Indah (TMII), Cipinang Melayu, Tongtek Bridge in Jatinegara, Jenderal Oerip Soemohardjo Jatinegara, Pasar Rebo Flyover, and other locations.  

"Not only anticipating crowds, we are also prepared for flooding," he added.

His side was not only deployed personnel but also supporting equipment, such as Satpol PP patrol cars, fire trucks, ambulances, operational vehicles in Health Sub-agency, urban villages, and sub-districts, as well as technical units.

"We urge all residents to celebrate New Year's Eve with family at home in order to prevent COVID-19 transmission," he closed.
