PAM Jaya Handles Water Supply in Penjaringan

The PAM Jaya follows up residents' complaints regarding difficulty of getting clean water in several locations in Penjaringan area, North Jakarta, particularly on Jalan Kubur Koja and in Kampung Marlina on Jalan Muara Baru.

In the location, we have installed three temporary reservoirs

PAM Jaya's External Relation Manager, Linda Nurhandayani conveyed, several steps had been taken to ensure water supply was running again. Specifically on Jalan Kubur Koja, her side had configured network, added water supply, and detected the leaks.

"In the location, we have installed three temporary reservoirs. We are also investigating the complaints to determine the further steps," she stated, Saturday (1/22).

Currently, water supply has returned to normal in Kampung Marlina, especially in RT 10/17. However, her side is still investigating by finding blockages and leaks in transmission pipe area on Jalan Muara Baru.

Furthermore, her side also carried out flushing in distribution pipelines to accelerate water supply recovery.

"Previously, we had installed water valves and wash outs in several locations in Kampung Marlina," she mentioned.
