The Palmerah Urban Village, West Jakarta, precisely at SDN Palmerah 13 Pagi, RT 08/08 was selected as location for the launch of the National Movement for Healthy, Resilient, Disaster-Responsive Families (GKSTTB) that will be held on February 10, 2022.

Hopefully, disaster management efforts in the region can be an example for other provinces

West Jakarta Assistant for Public Welfare (Askesra), Amien Haji said, SDN Palmerah 13 Pagi was selected as location to launch GKSTTB, because local residents already have Firefighters Volunteers (Redkar).

"As many as 13 residents from local RW have joined and trained as Redkar. Their post is at SDN Palmerah 13 Pagi," he stated, Friday (2/4).

He explained that GKSTTB is a national program of the central government which was initiated as an effort to manage disasters at the regional level throughout Indonesia.

"Hopefully, disaster management efforts in the region can be an example for other provinces," he said.
