West Jakarta LH Transports 53,095.38 Tons of Waste during January 2022

In January 2022, the West Jakarta Environment (LH) Sub-agency had transported 53,095.38 tons of market and non-market waste in the area.

West Jakarta LH Sub-agency Head, Slamet Riyadi mentioned, his side was in charge of transporting market and non-market waste based on the LH Sub-agency's main tasks and functions.

He said, although waste from modern markets and offices is managed by private sectors, the Jakarta Government still gets retribution.
"We transport waste from households, settlements, and Perumda Pasar Jaya," he added, Thursday (2/10).
From total 53,095.38 tons of waste transported, there were 50,961.84 tons of non-market waste and 2,133.54 tons of market waste which collected from markets under Perumda Pasar Jaya.
From each sub-district, his side had transported 5,569.68 tons of waste from Grogol Petamburan; 9,314.4 tons from Cengkareng; 9,701.66 tons from Kalideres; 2,615.82 tons from Kebon Jeruk; 5,585.28 tons from Kembangan; 4,349.76 tons from Palmerah; 8,185.02 tons from Tamansari; and 6,946.44 tons from Tambora.
"We directly transport the waste to Bantar Gebang TPST," he stated.
