Time to Fight Covid-19 Harder, Jakarta PPNI Says

The Indonesian Nurses Association (PPNI) in Jakarta is ready to synergize with the Jakarta administration to contain the Covid-19 outbreak in the capital city.

We are ready to help until the end

It was stated by Jajang Rahmat Solihin after he was re-elected as Chair of the Jakarta PPNI DPW, in the X regional deliberations (Muswil) which was held on Jalan Gatot Subroto area, Central Jakarta, Saturday (2/12).

"We'll continuously synergize and support policies in handling health and Covid-19. Time to fight Covid-19 harder until the end," asserted Solihin.

Other than being in the health center or hospital, his nurses were also alerted to provide vaccination drives at the RPTRAs, schools, houses of worship, RW secretariats, GORs, and so forth.

"We have 53,800 nurses. They represent 40 percent of the health workers in Jakarta. Surely, this is a big force in health services for Jakartans," he furthered.

He mentioned that if they were empowered properly, health services and Covid-19 handling would run more optimally.

As for the information, Jajang Rahmat Solihin was again the Chair of the Jakarta PPNI DPW after another candidate, Maryanto who also served as the OSH Coordinator at Cipayung Hospital, East Jakarta, resigned and the results were transferred to Solihin. Previously, in the voting, both got three votes.
