Tomorrow, Clean Water Pipes at Glodok and Kota Train Stations Relocated

PT MRT Jakarta, Perumda PAM Jaya, and Palyja are about to relocate 600-millimeter-diameter pipes on Jalan Pintu Besar Selatan and Jalan Hayam Wuruk on February 25 and 26 2022 starting at 9 PM to 3.30 AM.

We apologize for the inconvenience caused by this water distribution pipe relocation process

Its relocation was a part of the construction work of the MRT Jakarta phase 2A underground route on the Bundaran HI - Kota route, especially Glodok and Kota stations.

It will have an impact on temporarily stopping the flow of water in the Palyja service area for a maximum of 48 hours.

The areas that will later be affected include parts of Penjaringan Urban Village (Tanah Pasir, Gedong Panjang, Muara Baru, and Luar Batang), Roa Malaka Urban Village, Pinangsia Urban Village.

Then Pekojan Urban Village, Mangga Besar Urban Village, Maphar Urban Village, Tangki Urban Village, Ancol Urban Village (Lodan area), Mangga Dua Selatan Urban Village, and its surrounding areas.

The water distribution supply is slated to be normal gradually on February 26, 2022, at 9.30 AM.

PT MRT Jakarta President Director, William Sabandar ensured the chosen method of work was the best method with the least impact.

"We apologize for the inconvenience caused by this water distribution pipe relocation process. We are doing our best to complete the construction of this phase 2A on time," he stated, Thursday (2/24).

Perumda PAM Jaya President Director, Syamsul Bahri Yusuf added that those pipes belong to the category of large distribution pipe with a large enough affected area. Therefore, residents were expected to fill reservoirs at home as supplies during supply disruptions.

He went on to say that PAM Jaya and Palyja would provide 63 tank cars and 19 units of water reservoirs to supply clean water needs in affected areas, including hospitals, places of worship, and social institutions during the relocation work.

"PAM Jaya strives during the disturbance period, the community continues to get water supplies through reservoirs that have been prepared at several points as well as dozens of tank fleets that have been alerted," he said.

Customers who need further information can contact Palyja's call center at 021-29979999 for 24 hours a day, Palyja's website at www.palyja.co.id, and SMS service 0816 725 952 or MRT Jakarta's call center at 1 500 332 and MRT Jakarta social media.
