City Budget Absorption Still 36.07 Percent

Jakarta Governor Basuki Tjahaja Purnama remains relax to respond the low absorption of 2014 Jakarta City Budget. The absorption up to November was only 36.07 percent out of total budget Rp 76.9 trillion. In fact, early target was 84.5 percent.

The departments with lowest absorption are Jakarta Parks and Cemetery Department. The absorption is Rp 196.6 billion or 8 percent out of total budget Rp 2.44 trillion. Next is Dept. of Public Works by Rp 625.7 billion or 10.21 percent out of Rp 6.12 trillion.
Dept. of Transportation by 15.55 percent or Rp 149.7 billion out of Rp 962.7 billion. Dept. of Housing and Governmental Building by Rp 488.2 billion or 17.8 percent out of Rp 2.74 trillion. Dept. of Sport and Youth by 18.33 percent or Rp 146.5 billion out of Rp 799.7 billion.
Others are Dept. of Tourism and Culture by Rp 241.9 billion or 26.87 percent out of Rp 900.5 billion. Dept. of Firefighter and Disaster Handling by 27.08 percent or Rp 241.9 billion out of Rp 1.54 trillion.
Moreover, Dept. of Health by 27.34 percent or Rp 521.4 billion out of Rp 1.9 trillion. Dept. of City Cleanliness by Rp 658.7 billion or 28.48 percent out of Rp 2.3 trillion, and last is Dept. of Fishery and Agriculture by 32.24 percent or Rp 161 billion out of total budget Rp 499.4 billion.
